Our Vision

All entrepreneurs or would-be entrepreneurs know that moment when you make the decision to leave your 9 to 5 and start working for yourself. Many times, it started with an overwhelming feeling of “This Miserable Job” – a feeling that there was something more that you wanted to do, something more inside that just had to get out. Here, we celebrate that moment, and we try to re-live that feeling, because it was the catalyst to greater things and a more fulfilled life.

Coleen’s Story

After moving from Jamaica to Boston at the age of 7, Coleen had an interesting experience that set the foundation for a life in the education field. Since that time, she pursued an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Education, worked for 14 years in the Training & Education field as an instructional designer, and has had various side hustles from web design and development to part-time teaching gigs.

With the support from friends and family, and especially from Craig, she decided to leave the 9 to 5 in 2014 and began working as an independent consultant, creating online courses for universities and government agencies. More recently, she began to offer these course creation services to solopreneurs who want to grow their business online. She hasn’t turned back since.

Craig’s Story

Craig has been self-employed for most of his life. Starting in the 4th grade when he began selling his artwork for lunch money, he has been making a living as a professional artist for about 20 years.

His first real taste of entrepreneurial life began when, at the age of 15, he joined forces with several well-established companies in his hometown of Kansas City and opened his own art studio in a popular mall in the City. And although he had a brief time working full-time for a sign shop in Atlanta, he has basically lived the life of a serial entrepreneur.

He can be found in the Atlanta movie scene as a film scenic or in his art studio experimenting with various techniques and strategies. Wanna know more and see some of his work, check him out at CStanleyArt.com.
